- 8 ounces filtered water, room temperature or slightly warm
- ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon raw honey, optional
- Pinch of sea salt, optional
Instructions
- Pour 8 ounces filtered water into a clear glass or cup.
- Measure exactly ¼ teaspoon food-grade baking soda.
- Squeeze ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice into the water.
- Gather optional raw honey or sea salt if using.
- Add the measured baking soda gradually to the lemon water.
- Stir vigorously with a spoon for about 30 seconds.
- Allow the natural fizz to settle slightly.
- Add ½ teaspoon raw honey if desired.
- Stir until the honey dissolves completely.
- Add a pinch of sea salt if using.
- Stir once more until fully incorporated.
- Drink immediately while the fizz is still active and fresh.
- Follow with a full glass of plain water for hydration.
- Prepare fresh daily for best results.
Notes
Use food-grade baking soda only, never baking powder. Do not exceed ¼ teaspoon baking soda per serving unless advised by a healthcare provider. Drink within 5 minutes of mixing while the fizz is active for the best taste and effect.
