Instructions
- Place the raw honey into a clean small mixing bowl.
- Measure the baking soda into a separate small container.
- Add the baking soda gradually to the honey.
- Stir for 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth and paste-like.
- Press out any small lumps against the side of the bowl.
- Add water only if the paste is too thick for your intended use.
- Mix in lemon juice or coconut oil if using optional additions.
- Adjust the consistency until thick enough for masks or creamier for scrubs.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight glass container.
Notes
Use raw, unpasteurized honey for the best results. Always patch test before applying to skin. For internal use, consult a healthcare provider first and avoid large amounts due to the sodium content from baking soda.
