Ingredients
12 slices halal beef bacon
24 water chestnuts (canned, drained, and patted dry)
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
Cut bacon slices into thirds
Dab a small amount of cream cheese onto each bacon strip
Wrap a water chestnut in each bacon piece
Place on baking sheet or air fryer liner
Sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper
Bake for 20-25 minutes or air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway until bacon is crispy
Notes
For lower fat, substitute with turkey bacon
Use dairy-free cream cheese for lactose-free option
