Ingredients

1/2 cup egg whites
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 large cucumber, sliced
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F)
In a bowl, mix ground turkey with egg whites, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined
Form mixture into 4 equal patties
Grill patties 5-6 minutes per side, then move to cooler part of grill for 2-3 minutes to finish cooking
While patties cook, combine cucumber, red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Toss salad to coat and refrigerate until serving

Notes

For indoor cooking, cook patties in a skillet over medium heat
Add a halal-designated ground chicken instead if preferred
Store ingredients separately in airtight containers for up to 3 days
Salad keeps best in the fridge for 1-2 days
