Ingredients
2 cups raw sunflower seeds (shelled, unsalted)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (non-alcoholic)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C)
Spread sunflower seeds evenly on a baking sheet
In a bowl, mix olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and black pepper
Pour spice mixture over seeds, toss to coat evenly
Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden brown and fragrant
Cool completely before storing
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week
For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper for a spicy kick
Pumpkin seeds can be substituted for a similar low-carb crunch
